Tammy Fender:

Over 25 years ago, Tammy Fender pioneered a movement towards natural, plant-based luxury skin care and holistic living, recognizing the interconnected nature of wellness, and guiding clients towards lifestyle choices that enhance vitality on every level—body, mind and spirit. 

On a personal note, I’ve been using Tammy Fender’s products for years, and the quality and effectiveness are unmistakable—from the very first touch, you can feel the care, purity, and potency in every formula.

Farmhouse Pottery:

Studio pottery refers to ceramics that are crafted entirely by hand, created from start to finish by a small group of skilled artisans. At the Woodstock, Vermont studio, each piece is carefully shaped and finished without the use of modern machinery or mass production methods.

The studio takes pride in being part of a community that values tradition, craftsmanship, and authenticity. From the moment the clay meets the wheel until the piece is delivered to its new home, every creation reflects a deep connection to the artist’s hands.

One especially beloved item is the heart mug—a piece cherished not only for the beautiful heart it features, symbolizing love and connection, but also for its textured pottery surface, which many find soothing and therapeutic to touch. Mosser Glass:

The origins of Mosser Glass go back more than half a century to the time when Orie Mosser was the plant manager of the Cambridge Glass Company. His son, Thomas, began working there as a teenager, learning the trade from bottom to top. When Cambridge Glass closed in 1954, Tom decided to continue in the glass business building a company of his own.

Mosser Glass continues the legacy by blending beauty and fine craftsmanship in every piece of glassware they produce.

I am in awe at how a simple glass cake platter or vase can bring such elegance and warmth into a space. There’s something timeless and quietly powerful about these pieces—the way they hold beauty with grace, and elevate even the simplest moments.

Minky Couture:

Minky Couture started in 2009 when owner, Sandi Hendry’s daughter became very ill and was hospitalized for several months. During this time, Sandi longed for a way to bring comfort to her daughter while in recovery. Her daughter asked for a “big baby blanket” to snuggle up with during this time. Sandi looked everywhere for a fashionable, cozy blanket but was unable to find one perfect for her daughter. It was at this time that Sandi created the first-ever Adult size Minky Couture blanket. This incredibly soft blanket was swooned over by those surrounding her daughter in recovery. Sandi created 2 more, 10 more, 100 more per requests. Giving them to those in need and selling them out of her trunk to people longing for luxurious comfort.

Our beloved Minky Couture throws are treasured in every room of our home. I’ve come to deeply appreciate how comforting and soothing the right texture can be—it’s like a gentle embrace for the senses. When my best friend was going through her treatments, I gifted her the lap-size blanket, and she held it close like a hug infused with love, warmth, and strength. It became more than just a blanket—it was a quiet source of comfort when words weren’t enough.

Positivity Bias

My homebred goods are more than just food; they’re an expression of care, tradition, and heart. Baking and cooking have always been my special place, a way of nurturing those I love. My children often say that the secret ingredient in everything I make is love—and I believe that’s true. Because when food is made with intention, warmth, and soul, it doesn’t just nourish the body—it comforts, connects, and creates lasting memories.
